Arrive at Madurai Junction on the allocated train schedule and meet the Trip Buddies ground coordination team at the designated reporting point.
Transfer to the selected hotel, complete check-in formalities and relax after the long rail journey.
The remainder of the day is intentionally light so guests from different joining cities can assemble comfortably. Dinner and a short tour briefing in the evening.
No major sightseeing is scheduled on arrival day. Early room check-in is subject to hotel policy.
02DAY 02 | MADURAI DARSHAN → RAMESHWARAM

Early visit to the Meenakshi Amman Temple for regular darshan; the timing will be coordinated with temple operating hours and local queues.
Enjoy breakfast, check out and drive towards Rameshwaram through the landscapes of southern Tamil Nadu.
View the Pamban Bridge from a safe authorized vantage point en route, if traffic and stopping restrictions permit.
Arrive in Rameshwaram, check in, relax and enjoy dinner. Evening temple-area leisure is subject to arrival timing.
03DAY 03 | RAMESHWARAM JYOTIRLINGA & DHANUSHKODI

Start early with Ramanathaswamy Jyotirlinga regular darshan. Optional Agni Theertham and 22 Theertham bathing rituals may be arranged under temple rules at guest cost.
Return to the hotel for freshening up and breakfast after the temple visit, when practical.
Visit APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial and continue to Dhanushkodi coastal viewpoints / accessible road-end, subject to local hours, weather and permissions.
Return to the hotel for dinner. Darshan queues or rituals may require adjustments to local sightseeing.
04DAY 04 | RAMESHWARAM → KANYAKUMARI

After early breakfast and check-out, begin a full intercity travel day towards Kanyakumari with planned comfort and refreshment stops.
Arrive, check in and relax. If time and daylight permit, guests may enjoy a short waterfront walk.
The tour does not guarantee sunset sightseeing on this transfer day; the following day is reserved for major Kanyakumari attractions.

Optional early sunrise experience before breakfast, subject to weather and hotel distance.
Planned visits include Vivekananda Rock Memorial by standard scheduled ferry, Thiruvalluvar Statue / Glass Bridge where accessible, Triveni Sangam, Kumari Amman Temple and Gandhi Memorial.
Enjoy local heritage experiences, coastal views and sunset time at an accessible viewpoint if weather permits.
Ferry schedules, sea conditions, queues and monument access can affect timings; regular planned entry and ferry tickets are included subject to the final confirmed itinerary.
06DAY 06 | KANYAKUMARI → TRIVANDRUM → KOVALAM

After breakfast, proceed to Thiruvananthapuram for the planned Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple-area visit.
Temple entry is restricted by the temple administration and requires prescribed religious eligibility and traditional dress; exterior-area alternatives apply to guests unable to enter.
Continue to Kovalam for time at the scenic beachfront and a relaxing evening, subject to daylight and weather.
Check in to the hotel and enjoy dinner.
07DAY 07 | KOVALAM → ALLEPPEY HOUSEBOAT

Depart Kovalam early; the hotel breakfast may need to be packed depending on the departure time.
Proceed to Alleppey and reach the designated boarding point around the afternoon houseboat check-in window, traffic permitting.
Board the selected quality-checked traditional houseboat for an afternoon backwater cruise through palm-lined waterways and village scenery.
Enjoy lunch, evening refreshments where included and dinner on board. The houseboat will anchor overnight as required by local operating rules.
Cabin type, AC usage hours, cruise timings and sharing layout depend on the final contracted vessel and will be disclosed in the booking voucher.
08DAY 08 | ALLEPPEY → KOCHI HERITAGE

Enjoy breakfast and check out from the houseboat as per the operator schedule.
Transfer to Kochi for sightseeing around Fort Kochi and heritage quarters: Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace / Dutch Palace and Jew Town, subject to opening hours.
Check in to the hotel and enjoy an evening of leisure or local shopping, as time allows.
Enjoy the final group dinner and overnight stay in Kochi.
09DAY 09 | KOCHI RETURN RAILWAY JOURNEY

Check out according to the confirmed return railway timetable and transfer to the assigned Ernakulam / Kochi railway boarding station.
Board reserved Sleeper Class (Non-AC) return train, or optional confirmed 3AC upgrade, for the return journey to the approved joining city.
Hotel breakfast or packed breakfast is arranged only where operationally feasible; very early departures may not permit breakfast.
Home-city arrival dates and any approved train changes will be communicated separately in the confirmed railway schedule.
