Hampi, Aihole, Pattadakal & Badami

Begin at the assigned station or bus boarding point. Mumbai guests using train 11139 board Friday night; Pune and Solapur travellers on that train board early Saturday. These are the only regular fixed-departure origin cities for the Hampi–Badami tour. Dinner during the outward journey is included where the boarding/journey covers the dinner period, arranged by packed meal, catering or a designated halt.

Arrivals at Hosapete are coordinated in two waves. Early bus arrivals are served an arrival breakfast; train arrivals around lunchtime receive their included arrival breakfast en route by pre-booked railway catering. Hotel check-in follows the agreed time. Lunch is at personal cost.

Afternoon orientation around Virupaksha Temple and Hampi Bazaar, subject to darshan access and arrival timing.

Hemakuta Hill viewpoint and nearby Sasivekalu Ganesha / Kadale Kalu Ganesha cluster when time and walking conditions allow.

Evening return to hotel, dinner and rest. Sunset stop only if daylight and crowd management permit.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided full-day heritage tour, allocating generous walking and monument interpretation time. The licensed/qualified local guide leads visits at the ticketed monuments, where permitted.

Vijaya Vittala Temple complex, the Stone Chariot, musical-pillared halls and the permitted last-mile electric shuttle / walking approach.

Royal Enclosure, Queen’s Bath, Hazara Rama Temple and Mahanavami Platform, according to the defined driving circuit.

Lotus Mahal and Elephant Stables, with regular entry tickets included.

Ugra Narasimha and Badavilinga where the itinerary and weather allow.

Lunch halt is arranged but the meal is excluded. Evening dinner at the hotel. Anjanadri / Kishkindha climbing is not a guaranteed inclusion in the scheduled 2-night stay.

Early breakfast and checkout, followed by the dedicated Chalukyan heritage drive. Plan approximately 175–210 km including sightseeing diversions; the journey is an all-day 8–10+ hour operational segment rather than a short hop.

Aihole Durga Temple complex, Lad Khan Temple and other nearby scheduled monuments; allow approximately 1.5–2 hours.

Pattadakal UNESCO monuments including Virupaksha Temple; plan approximately 1–1.5 hours plus parking and guide.

Continue to Badami, check in, dinner. Agastya Lake evening visit only if adequate daylight remains.

After breakfast, check out and visit the Badami Cave Temples with adequate time for steps, carvings and scenic views. Weather and walking capacity permitting, view Agastya Lake and Bhutanatha Temple; a full Badami Fort hike is not included in this morning schedule.

Arrange self-paid lunch and then travel to Badami Railway Station for return 11140, currently scheduled 16:13 arrival / 16:14 departure. Plan a sensible buffer for local roads, station arrival and boarding; exact schedule may change. Road coach ends at the confirmed railway drop.

Return dinner is included for passengers travelling through dinner time, as per issued catering vouchers. Railway return arrangements from Badami for Mumbai, Pune and Solapur remain subject to departure-date timetable and berth confirmation. No regular Chh. Sambhajinagar seats are offered.

For the candidate 11140 connection, Solapur arrival is Tuesday evening, Pune after midnight Wednesday and Mumbai early Wednesday. Actual arrivals follow issued tickets. The tour ends on reaching the specified drop station.
